Keeping Wyatt and Battle of the Bands

A ton has been going on since the last time we’ve updated. First and foremost, this semester we signed Keeping Wyatt to Madstop Records. We released their CD in October and it’s been a huge success!
Second of all, Madstop Records is hosting their bi-annual three-week long Battle of the Bands Competition. The Battle takes place at Backstreets, a local bar downtown that has proven to be a good place for music and drink. The bands win a gift certificate to the local music store, Northern Music. Round I took place on Friday, November 6th. The bands competing were Marty Horn and Friends, Carpo Phorus, Abbott Hayes, and Folmsbee County Fair. After tallying the votes, Abbott Hayes and Folmsbee County Fair made it through to the Final Round. Round II took place on Friday, November 13th. Bands competing were Hand Yer Dealt, Echo Drive, Sedanimal, and Peter House. After the votes were in, Hand Yer Dealt and Echo Drive moved forward to the Final Round.
The Final Round of the Battle of the Bands Competition takes place this Friday, November 20th at 7:30. As usual, it will take place at Backstreets, (31 Market St, 18+). 3$ at the door will gain you access to a phenomenal line-up of music: Hand Yer Dealt, Echo-Drive, Folmsbee County Fair, and Abbot Hayes. Voting will be held until the end and a prize will be given out to the winner of the Competition.
